Modern measurement range

One log

300–330 mL

1.27–1.39 US cups · 10.6–11.6 Imp fl oz

Using the log estimate. The log appears with oil in Leviticus; this converts volume, not the oil's weight.

Calculate another amount →

A log is a small liquid measure; converting it to millilitres helps readers picture a manageable vessel rather than a large jar.

What this conversion does—and does not—show

It gives a defensible modern scale for the amount stated in the verse. Ancient standards varied by time and place, so the endpoints are deliberately approximate. A volume is not a food mass, a metal weight is not a modern cash value, and a conversion does not settle a textual, archaeological, or theological debate.
