Numbers 11:32 · measurement explained
At least ten homers of gathered quail
The people gather quail all day, night, and the next day; even the least gathering is said to be ten homers.
Read the verse first
The people rose up all that day, and all of that night, and all the next day, and gathered the quails. He who gathered least gathered ten homers; and they spread them all out for themselves around the camp.

Using the homer estimate. Do not confuse homer with omer: the homer is one hundred omers in the ratios used here.
Calculate another amount →This enormous volume reinforces abundance and excess. Litres do not provide bird count or mass because packing and body size are unspecified.
What this conversion does—and does not—show
It gives a defensible modern scale for the amount stated in the verse. Ancient standards varied by time and place, so the endpoints are deliberately approximate. A volume is not a food mass, a metal weight is not a modern cash value, and a conversion does not settle a textual, archaeological, or theological debate.
